Unit 4 Short Exercise
“The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” is
a very common phrase when a son or daughter takes after one of their parents
and shows many of the same physical and personality traits. Think of one family
member that you have been compared to at some point in your life. Compare and
contrast yourself with this family member using block-by-block or
point-by-point construction. Choose at least one similarity and one difference
to discuss.
As some food for
thought, consider the similarities and differences of your physical appearances
as well as your personalities, likes, and dislikes. Keep in mind what makes you
both unique, yet similar at the same time.
Refer to Course
Information for the grading rubric. Using the first person point of view is allowed in this
exercise. Each short exercise will be approximately 2-3 paragraphs long;
consider a full paragraph to average 7-10 sentences.
